Okay here we have the music video for the song "Mamma Mia!", in the original by ABBA of course, and the 2018 version (clearly desperae to cash in on the success of the Amanda Seyfried sequel) we hear in these slightly over three minutes is by a man named Brandon Stewart and as we listen to his singing we see a video he made at the beach with some of his friends. Very difficult to appreciate. Technically it looks fine, but honestly I don't see one bit of talent here. The singing is extremely medicore if at all. The girls singing in the middle makes it sound slightly better than when we hear Stewart himself. The little take on comedy with the very hairy man pointing to the direction of the water was pretty kinda cringeworthy and unfunny. I mean attractive girls (and probably guys too) does not cut the cake anymore. In case you wonder what I mean with the title of this review, it means that they made Mamma Mia, maybe one of the catchiest and most fun songs ever, seem shallow and uninspired. Really disappointing. I am glad it was this short and I genuinely wonder why this even exists here on imdb. It's not even a fan-made movie. Oh well, I guess Stewart or his director Joe Bohn who also appears in front of the camera (never a good sign for fan-made movies) just uploaded it here. Anyway I think the outcome is a massive failure. Nothing of quality to see here. Sure the guys making this one had a great time, so it's okay to send the outcome to each and every one of them. But for general audiences, this is highly not recommended.
