A very nice Q&A about "Call Me by Your Name"

A bonus material for the DVD of "Call Me by Your Name" this a fine Q&A with major stars from the movie (Timothée Chalamet, Armie Hammer and Michael Stuhlbarg) and director Luca Guadagnino. This amazing movie went everywhere around the globe and there were countless of those events you can watch fully or pieces of it on the internet. Of the few I've seen this is quite reserved with minor humored moments with many interesting insights about the making of it and how professional approached the characters they played or the interactions they had with each other, or in Luca's case how he composed his shots and his direction of actors. You can sense a strong bonding formed with those guys and how special making that movie was important and life-changing for them.

There were some fun moments but if compared with some other similar events this went quite serious - the ones that are fun to watch revolved with Armie telling the already classic story about how the director insisted for realistic kissing between Armie and Timmy to the point they kept kissing each other yet Luca and his crew were gone without telling them (this was the rehearsal period); and the most hilarious Q&A moment was of another event where a distracted Timmy observing someone in the audience, anxiously rocking his chair back and forth end up falling from it and recovering quite quickly in a celebratory manner ("This was so embarassing!").

Anyway, for viewers curious in the acting process and the dynamic experience of composing difficult and emotional characters this is a nice way to get familiar with the cast stories while making "CMBYN". They reveal plenty of things despite the limited time, but there's always good to appreciate. 9/10.
