Just finished watching this on Mubi. Surprised to find no ratings or reviews on IMDb. I was drawn to watching this because it's set in Arunachal Pradesh, and I don't remember ever watching a movie from the region. It tells the take of a friendship and romance that transcends culture and language, and even class, between a local youth and an outsider woman in an unhappy marriage, who are both united by loneliness, repressed memories and oppression. I found it surprisingly moving, and yet the climax could only be inevitably tragic.
