Thr33 involves people from the Sunshine Girl series which I'm unfamiliar with, it's now been added to my watchlist but based on this effort my expectations will be rather low going in.
It tells the usual overdone cliched story of a girl alone in a haunted house. Through a series of audio recordings from the previous tenant she uncovers the mystery of the house's resident ghost.
First of all the pluses, for a start it's very impressive that this entire movie was made by three people. Ontop of that the entire movie only features one cast member and she does a competent enough job.
Furthermore the "Entity" actually looks quite good, had it been used better it could have actually been quite scary. The camera work and production values are also considerably better than you'd expect from a movie of this ilk.
Now back to reality, the film is an hour of cliches. There is little originality here, the story flows poorly and plods along at an underwhelming pace. The "Chapter" method they use simply didn't work and really took away from the film.
Thr33 is by no means the worst film I've seen lately but to me it comes across as a good effort that by all rights simply should have been better.
The Good:
