And who gets caught by Guatemala authorities, an "a persecuted environmental activist" thereby implying this makes them eligible or refugees status is the EXACT abuse of the refugee laws that is encouraged by immigration lawyers and that is the core problem. If I am a rapacious burner or mass denuding of forests in Brazil, and the police catch me, I can claim political refugee status in the US? What??
