The whole series is great, but the final episode is devastatingly beautiful in its sadness. The final shot of the real life Korey is tearjerking. What a brave, handsome man.

Rarely do I feel so torn apart and sad after watching something, but this was single handedly the hardest episode of television I have ever watched. Not to say it was bad, I think this episode is in the top 3 pieces of television that I have ever seen. What a crazy true story, I won't spoil anything (even though it's common knowledge). Please do yourself a favor and watch this episode, but be prepared to have your heart torn out of you.

Omg. I haven't been moved by a dramatic performance like this in ages. My heart broke and my body cringed watching the agony, the incredible amount of suffering, and the tragic effects this had on all 5 of the boys, especially in this last episode. I just felt so sick that injustice was so easy to spin. The performance by Jharrel Jerome was the one that did me in. Had me crying so hard that I couldn't breathe. Used an entire box of tissues just in the first half of episode four. Be prepared to experience profound sadness for these boys, now men. They were robbed of their innocence and they can never get that back. Much respect for the real men who this story is based on. They kept going, when it could have been so easy to give up. Also, much respect to ALL of the actors, men and boys alike. I was moved, I was angry, I felt broken hearted, and just plain broken from their true-to-life performances. This series in INTENSE. It is also something everyone should see. Our system is broken. When we know what happened and how it happened, then we can speak up and make changes. YOU BETTER BELIEVE THEY SEE YOU NOW.

Honestly this is my first time crying cuz of a TV show .
To precize i cried in the final episode? in this mini_series i experienced many emotions anger , sadness , pity...
Another thing if one day i'll meet linda tell her to run as fast as she can cuz i 'll try to show her how real justice works with my fist.

One of the best shows i've ever watched. It priduced so much emotions while i watched it and especiallly because it's based on the real thing made me thinking about it for long time. The kid who played Korey deserves Emmy award, bright future is in front of him.

I was so mad about the system, i am not from America and i could not imagine the pain they and they're families indured and the suffer for 13 years, i cryied almost all the episode , i was so happy at the end seeing the happines on theyre faces.THE ACTING WAS INCREDIBLE!!For me this is the most emotinal tv show i have ever seen!

It's one of the best shows in 2019 in my opinion.
The acting was spot on specially the one who did Korey's role.
But what I really wanted was for these police investigators and everyone who participated in this great injustice to be punished because they destroyed these boys' life.
However, it's really a great series and I would recommend it to anyone.
So unfair..

The actor who played Korey deserved the Emmy, he was the only one who acted as a young man and an adult, and even so, the performance was very different.
Of the other four defendants, the ones who looked the most like both young and adult were the Raymond actors, and I didn't think any of the nine actors looked like the real men.
You can't help but cry in the amusement park scene, in Korey's illusion, and think that even if he didn't go to the park that night and stayed with the girl, they would still put him in the middle of the case, because it wasn't the trip to the park that caused this and yes, he wanted to accompany Yusef.
Then they say that karma doesn't exist, Korey's mother said so many wrong things to Korey's sister that in the end it all fell on her own mother, but what a shame that Korey had to pay for this karma.
Wonderful miniseries, flawless, extremely good and convincing acting, almost five hours that flew by.

Did better by them by confessing than the whole justice system, helps you understand just how distrubing this story was, that juxtaposition is all you need to know, and imagine had corey not refused to confesse to the crime, Matias Reyes wouldnt have felt sorry for them and maybe wouldnt have confessed, so all it was, was fate of luck if you want,
great miniseries and let's hope nothing similar happens to anyone black or white, being accused of stealing a pen when you didnt do it would drive you crazy, so imagine the scale of this sitiuation and imagine it happening to your son or sister or mother.....

This had me crying so many during the episode itself and afterward.
It's so hard to watch yet so necessary. So emotional and heartbreaking.
It's one of those things you watch that get inside your mind and heart and leaves a mark on your soul and changes your point of view on life.
What a crazy true story. Please do yourself a favor and watch this episode but be prepared to have your heart torn out of you.
It's really painful to think that the kid just went to help his friends in the police station then police officers made him one of the suspects in the story.
Good job to the creators of this episode and series, I highly recommend watching it!
