Euphoria getting lower
Near-L22 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
If you watch the first 5 minutes of the pilot episode you will notice that the show seemed to be about something with a much higher perspective than just high school drama and the following episodes still showed quality but slowly also showed the story will remain about the characters. Not that that's a bad thing, i just expected something with a higher scale and point of view. Still good and looking forward to next 2 episodes.

Good

The plot of that episode was just nice, like all the other previous episodes. In that episode, we had the chance to get to know McKay better. In my opinion, McKay is one of the most uninteresting characters. Also, the whole Nate situation, it's kinda getting boring and annoying. Actually, Nate he's so annoying and unlikable, I totally hate him. Moreover, I kinda felt sad about Cassie, even though, she's such a complicated character. Kat steals the show, for sure.

Another good episode. I like the little segments that most episodes start on where you'll get a little background on the character who will be the main focus of the episode. That being said, I don't feel like McKay got all that much of the focus. It felt quite evenly spread out, and tbh good because I really don't care about McKay. Rue and her withdrawal and rough patch with is being portrayed and acted so well. Rue genuinely looks so depressed. I'm always happy to see her interact with , I think they both also have great chemistry. Once again, very well shot and choreographed, and once again, a lot of screen time from characters I'm not really interested in. It's cool seeing smaller characters like Daniel who are just complete douchebags and I like that the characters are all so varied, but yeah all in all not that bothered. Nate shows more with each passing episode how much of a sicko he is and I just hope he doesn't get away with what he's done. I feel like Rue might go for him.

High 7

Nate is a SOB!! Thought he could be redeemed. Now I am realising that there is nothing there. He is even worse than his father!!

Harsh and necessary

Awesome party episode, many connections, immaturity, and heartwarming bits too. Not a bad one, definitely awkward and grotesque! I love learning about various characters each episode plus the soundtrack is electrifying. The pure drama is marvelously done well!

Great episode

Euphoria keeps getting better. I've seen comments that compare this show to "Kids" but that comparison is simply incomprehensible. Considering the extensive character development, beautiful cinematography, and a soundtrack that is unparalleled; Euphoria is second to none.

It's very good

I really like that voice over storytelling style and phenomenal directing and insanely good writing. This is disturbing and I feel ackward while watching this. What becomes drugs use it is realistic but really in these level of use why nobody didn't do iv? And no one doesn't get any withdrawls? Despite those facts I must give 10 stars it is that good. These young actors and actress are really good. Nate is freaking good. Nate/jules/Tyler twist is very, very good, great writing there. I have high expectations at the end, can't wait. Hbo did it again!

Redundant

I'm enjoying my binge with Euphoria as it has spectacle filmmaking and a good selection of characters. However this episode is a pretty big outlier; it's stagnant and repeats the content featured in the carnival episode. They really want to drill in that Daniel storyline with Cassie to the point where its just an eye-roll.

The first solid episode.
khaliid_rahiim8 August 2021
This episode was low on character building and exposition, but heavy on advancing the story's arc. The show is now less of a drug-filled teenage love affair, and more of a drama with many questions to be answered. And now, with a clear primary antagonist, there is much more depth to the already great storytelling of Euphoria.

Nate is a Sociopath

What is up with Nate incriminating everyone when he's the predator. It's making me mad.

What's worst is the slow pace they're adding to the episodes because they don't dont know what else to do after. All you see in this show is banging without protection and responsibility. I think Cassie is going to be pregnant next episode. The end.

Take a step back and watch again.

Warning: Spoilers
So many people are confused about the flashbacks and I followed them pretty well. Also complaints about the last part being an artistic, boring, and pointless and poorly ending. Well what were we supposed to see there. We were supposed to see why Rue didn't run off with her "new drug" Jules. This is character growth. She's been looking for outlets and escape and this is her reflecting on everything- good and bad- and realizing that her family means something to her. When I was an addict I had a therapist say to me- "quit, for ANY reason- quit and then find a reason to quit for you. But any reason that gets you to stop using today is a good reason." I know she went right back to using but she realized Jules wasn't the answer, and still needed to find her reason and uses the only coping mechanism she has. The music video part was her sorting things out in her own way. I get it. Watch it again.
