Like the direction and cinematography by Raihan Rafi and all the actors acted perfectly specially Siam.

The following movie DAHAN shows us the actual scenarios that happened in those days.Despite of having too many songs, the actors show us so much effort on their role and it was amazing performance they played in the movie.the magic of Bangladeshi film is that using the right bgm at the right moment and here you can feel it. Bangladeshi film is prospering rapidly and I strongly recommend everyone to watch this movie.

The movie is overall very good unless we look at the story. Acting, Cinematography was very good. I liked the acting of Siam Ahmed, Puja Cherry also did well. But the story seemed to be very short. I am not telling it bad but you know when we are watching any Full Length film we really expect a good length story. Above all it is really a good movie.

When I saw Raihan Rafi's movie Poramon 2, I was blown away and could not say enough about it. It was truly magical and a true cinematic masterpiece. I wanted more, I just loved the chemistry and intensity of the 2 stars. Siam Ahmed And Puja Cherry.

Now I had the privilege to see there new hit with Raihan Rafi again Directing and writing and starring Siam and Puja in "Dohon"! Another well told and well acted movie from producer Abdul Aziz production company, Jaaz Multi media. And it hits a homerun again.

This one follows the same pace of Poramon 2 with a doomed love story with violence and mayhem in the backdrop.

Raihan Rafi's Dohon this time raises a few political and social issues. He is a bold filmmaker and shows life the way it is and through that helps us understand more of what going on beyond the movie.

Siam plays a young drug addict, and Puja plays a garments worker. Zakiya Bari Mamo plays a reporter.

Whenever read up about this movie the two leads Siam and Puja went all out for there roles. He dressed in rags and really felt the part and Puja hung out at garment factories to get the feel of things.

Well it payed off cause there performances are so convincing you sometimes feel your watching a documentary about the lives of these 2 Characters.

Siam runs with a rough crowd and plays the character Tula. He spends his time getting in trouble and dealing with every day life in his part of town while vying for Puja heart.

One funny part has the law chasing him and he lands up in his girlfriends home. The mother gets rid of the police by shaming them when they want to inspect her daughter's shower. Siam is a hood and bad news but his love is strong for Puja.

While there love is strong it is put to a test with his wild life style. She loves him but not who he is. Siam plays Tula very convincing and is very different from the character he played in Poramon 2. The raw intensity he displays really shows the range of this young actor and shows he is no one hit wonder and has a strong future in acting!

Along with the loving and understanding Puja, you really feel for her. She is from such humble beginnings his love and dedication to her blind her of what he really is and his surroundings.

As with Poramon 2 like in real life unexpected life changing things occur but will there love be strong enough or will tragedy break them apart forever.

While this movie is from Bangladesh it plays and translates well and had me drawn in Immediately. This movie plays well on both sides of the world and will please all that appreciate good cinema.

I have been introduced by my 2 friends Asif Akbar and Abdul Aziz to these fine films and really appreciate them opening my eyes and broadening my cinema tastes.

Dohan is out now and if you get a chance take a look. You have Romance, action and even dance numbers. A all around great movie! I only hope for more from this great group of filmmakers!

As a side note: A very controversial song because some of the lyrics is a highlight and in pure Raihan Rafi with his staple flashy song Hajir biriyani along with a dance number that fits so well!

It's a Bangladeshi movie! Really unbelievable! Awesome!
