An old man digs up a sealed crate that contains an antique dummy in a tiny wheelchair that eerily appears to be splattered in old long dried blood. He proceeds to place the hideous object on his mantle and later that night as he prepares his dinner it begins to subtlety move its position and then hounds and frightens the man until, cornered, he eventually shoots at an opening door in a panic and discovers to his horror, that he's actually shot and killed his beloved daughter, and soon after in his grief he shoots himself, and the nearby dummy is showered in a fresh coat of gore, almost proudly so - he wasn't the first and he won't be the last to fall prey to the bloody curse of the murderous Mr. Leadfeet! So what I liked with this short was how it wasn't about a dummy flying at someone with a butcher knife like they might typically do it, but the situation happened in a different more subtle way, this thing gets into its victims' heads insidiously and manipulates them into killing themselves, it feeds on death and fear, what's not scary about that! It's an eerie idea for a killer dummy horror short and they used it rather well. Not that much to this short but it is good, it has a nice menacing tone and is effectively made, the dummy has a very sinister design, and I loved the way it ended in a big satisfying splash of blood! Very well done short and a nifty little creeper x
