There was a tender moment when members of the same family in Japan and Britain pay respect to a dearly departed family member.

It was a beautiful scene on the beach of the two estranged brothers, Kenzo and Yuto having a moment for their late father. There is also a moment when Kenzo thinks that Yuto might just run out on them but he elects to stay.

Despite again the majority of the dialogue being in Japanese there are so many things that happen and the visuals are beautiful. The Yakuza are at all out war in Tokyo.

Rodney is losing control with his drug taking. Kenzo and Sarah are also being drawn closer.

You feel for Kenzo, he is under so much pressure, he has nowhere to go but he still soldiers on as a sense of duty.

A little humour goes a long way.

Hokata passes, forcing Kenzo and Yuto into a truce, and a beach memorial for their father.

There is some great humour in this series, Kenzo's mum is priceless, she has a real blunt sarcasm which is wonderful, his wife has also just commited the same act that she scalded her daughter for.

Really excellent once again, but despite all of the build up towards war on the streets of London, and the intricacies of the plot, it really is The Rodney show, Sharpe was a worthy award winner for his part here, and once again he is sensational, it's him you're watching, and his character's plight, will he be able to turn his life around? Not too sure he'd want to.
