The writing isn't as good for season two as it was for season one by half. I have no idea what happened, but this show fell off of a ten thousand foot cliff extremely quick.
Now to address the tremendously bad, LED spotlight shining, elephant in the room. The voice change simply doesn't work. Specifically, changing the voice to a that of a British person is too far off the mark to be acceptable. Changing the voice is one thing, but changing the accent was way too off the mark. Korvo gets a dart in his throat, that's the perfect way to change the voice, but having the new voice go from having an American accent to an English was idiotic and irritating. It made it feel the the new Korvo didn't belong to the same show. That a huge mistake that was.
