Season Two Review

Fortunately, the Star Channel on Disney plus means that unlike the first season we didn't have to wait that long for the second season to cross the Atlantic. I felt that the first season took a couple of episodes to settle down but this second season carries straight along from the standards that got too.

The four Aliens continue to live their life on Earth whilst trying to fix the ship and waiting for the Pupa (Sagan McMahan) to gestate and terraform the Earth. Meanwhile, in The Wall, Halk (Sterling K Brown) learns the truth about Tim's (Andy Daly) rise to power before an old face makes themselves known.

I know I'm far from the only person to have this opinion, but I'm starting to prefer the wall storyline, over what the principles are doing. I'm thinking that this isn't because the Wall story is better written, or funnier, it's just that there's a through narrative to this that keeps being built on, whereas the rest of the show is standalone stuff.

I'm still not quite on the same enjoyment level with "Solar Opposites" as I am with "Rick and Morty" though I'm not sure I can articulate exactly why. I am definitely looking forward to the 3rd season though.
