So I have watched the soulmates movie before and then I recently watched Another Me drama. And yes the drama is very different from the Movie itself. So this drama is about best friends or rather soulmates Ansheng (Shen Yue)and QiYue (Chen Duling) showcasing all their love, friendship and the turmoils that come along between them.

Chen Duling is apt for QiYue as a calm, family bound, righteous girl. She has done a well job portraying QiYue.

Whereas Ansheng is a rebellious, free-spirited girl longing for stability and love.

I personally felt that Shen Yue has done an amazing job as Ansheng. Really different and challenging role compared to all her previous roles.

There were scenes with high intense emotional requirements and Shen Yue has delivered a pretty fine performance as Ansheng. This role was definitely a great opportunity for Shen Yue to explore and improve her acting skills.

This drama gets a little slump in between but later it catches up it's pace. All the music track of this drama is melodious. Especially the ending credits where Shen Yue and Chen Duling have sung the song.

I would definitely recommend to give this drama a try..The girls have done a good job.

Holy cow can one show be so repetive and boring. The first few episodes are cute teen romance drama but after that it's just Qiyue having conflicts with Jiaming because they don't communicate propely and then they eat at a restaurant, storm out, and then there is another restaurant scene like how many times do you need to eat? Only thing that I consider even good is Ansheng and Shen Yue's performance. Qiyue's actress felt stale and emotionless and I can't even recall the others. And of course this has the same bright filter that every Chinese, Korean and Japanese drama made after 2018 must have.
