Up and down like a brides nightie

I was all for giving this just a 6, my lowest ever score.

My The humour is over done and obvious - apart from maybe the coconut scene. Slapstick always gets a laugh.

Ingrid, as usual, has a small role but has the funny lines.

Jadper's new lawyer (whom had previously played s judge) is supposed to be clumsy but the quirkiness is tried too much. It is the simplicity of the humour that has made it top notch in the past.

This was a real downer for me until just before the end when Paul makes his big emotional speech. I can never remember this poor character get a laugh.

This brought it up to an 8 for me until the final scene (which I had my inclinations about).

The PC brigade really has taken a hold of this show.

The new Annalies is very different. No girly and curls with an easy going nature. Saskia is a much harder character. I hope she will have the chance to get some funny lines but they are hard to come by these days.

A point off for PC.

Music wonderful as usual

I loved this episode and gave it a 10. In answer to the question from another user about a baroque song, I believe he or she is referring to Purcell's "Remember Me," or Dido's Lament, from Dido and Aeneas. The user who inquired about the music mentioned Handel's "Cara Sposa," but unfortunately if that beautiful aria was in the program I didn't recognize it at the time. "Remember Me" is definitely part of the episode.

As in all the chapters I find the music used extraordinary... in this particular episode, I find myself wondering the specific piece used from the Barroc period. It is very subtle but incredibly sublime ¿Is it Cara Sposa? Could anyone please informe me?

Painful to Watch

Warning: Spoilers
The main script in this episode could have been socially redeeming, because it exposed the nefarious nature of shallow materialism. Unfortunately, that straightforward and elevated moral lesson was completely hijacked.

I think it's pretty revealing when the best thing reviewers can say about an episode is, the music was good. If Professor T was a drama about a pianist or a talented composer then those comments would be rational and apropos. However, this is a MURDER MYSTERY show, not the BBC Orchestra Series.

One reviewer had the nerve to address what's going on this season. He even got it half right. He said the Professor T show has become "PC". WAIT A MINUTE! Saskia (the character) and Paul Piedfort (the writer) are both white. So what does "PC" mean, actually?

I enjoyed the scene where Saskia offered John her lip gloss and he accepted. Little did we know that was a foreshadow of things to come. If you recall, Saskia makes an offer but when John accepts, she reneges. IOW: Saskia says things she doesn't really mean. I. E., Saskia cannot be trusted.

I also agree that Jasper's lawyer was WAY over the top and painful to watch. No one who was as incompetent as that character could EVER finish law school, let alone pass the BAR exam.
