Conny is so funny
If you were watching the show for the first time then you would think this would be great but, having binge-watched 31 stories, I know this has been better.
The joke regarding Inske's bump is recycled from a previous series (possibly Annelies but not sure having binge-watched 31 stories), the jokes are a bit better this time with Conny brilliant as Ingrid's straight man and their Tete a Tete brings light relief to a scene involving Walter and Christina.
This is actually quite an enjoyable episode because it concentrates less on Jasper and more on the college.
There is only so much you can do in a prison.
Jasper sharing a cell with someone he put away resembles the comedy series Porridge which was made more than 40 years before.
Some good twists in the plot but things are getting a bit set in their ways.
It would have been better if we hadnt seen the final scene between Saskia and Inske in the previous story in order to give a greater sense of surprise.
The final scene in this one showing a pregnant lesbian ticks most of the boxes for PC brigade (it's a wonder she isn't an ethnic minority too but you only seen to see them in prison in this show and not at all in the first two series) and I fear that the forthcoming UK version will be pretty much the same.
It seems the show is now aimed at the woke society whereas the previous series were thought-provoking and looking at controversial issues such as euthanasia and the choking game.
Still a good watch but the clumsiness of the lawyer is a bit contrived. It looks like this is a series too far for a once great watch. Like Midsomer Murders, it should have finished while it was still relevant and un-PC.
