Conceptual. Best entrance of Divya Dutt once again, with Bhuvan Bam, whose acting was on class. Its short movie about two strangers who meet on a train from Delhi to Jalandhar. They casually converse with each other and have tea. But thing turns out of the box.....something pretty unusual. The movie is dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, who was an Indian martyr soldier but it is believed that he is immortal and invokes in the dreams of other soldiers to guide them towards war help in the border of India and China. The miraculous incident has been shown in the movie that is what people encounter in real life with the immortal soldier.

"Plus Minus" is an Indian Hindu-language live action short film from 2018 and the most recent work written and directed by Jyoti Kapur Das. She seems to have a talent for making her films known outside of India too, or maybe especially outside of India and uploading them on the world's biggest video platform as well as providing subtitles may already be half the story. But yeah, here we have a man and woman meet on a train and discuss vital aspects of life, even if it initially does not sound that way. I will not go into detail about the cast list. You can check that out for yourself. If you are into Indian films, maybe you will know some of them. I don't. The woman was not particularly good in my opinion. The male lead was slightly better, but nothing special either. When the film turns into a photo show basically in the last third, it gets a bit embarrassing, almost pretentious even and mostly style over substance. The ending here is not really satisfying either and I must say I rarely had the impression that I was watching actual people and not just actors on tape admittedly. This may have had to do with the performances partially and also, maybe even more so, with the script. I am not convinced by this work and it does make me curious about the filmmaker's future projects. My suggestion is to watch something else instead. Admittedly, it is not a failure, but not good enough from a positive recommendation either. Skip it.
