Kelly gets to wear the golden vest because she wins the employee of the month award, engineered by crafty Glenn to keep Kelly in store and not transfer elsewhere.
Mateo versus Kelly is hilarious. The goldenvestsowhite hashtag campaign in the episode was hilarious and on point. You have to watch the episode to get it.
It's interesting seeing the pattern of imdb reviews for Superstore episodes. Before my review for this episode, Toxic Workplace, there were three reviews for this episode, one in 2020, one in 2021 and one in 2022. Also in the prior episode there were no reviews before I posted one.

I really love this show...but this episode..really made me so mad lol
Glenn wouldn't let Kelly transfer , even took away Mateo's employee of the month to try and bribe her into staying.
The fact that Any and Jonah got together but Garrett told them it was obvious they were together and then they started fake fighting for no reason. And then CAROL ! Why does she want Jerry so bad? Won't let the poor man eat sugar. Him and Sandra look so good together and Carol just needs to leave him and Sandra alone lol such a mean 'B-word'
