A rushed, yet beautiful episode in this story of tragedies...

Warning: Spoilers
Just finished watching this episode again, as it was in my downloads since November 18, 2018, and I got emotional by the end of the episode yet again... The butterfly symbolism with Kishou Arima that started the episode, his truth and those of human-ghoul hybrids, the Sunlit Garden... and it flowing into the beautiful ending, was so extremely hearttouching as "all his life, he took from people and now he finally left something behind...."

Kaneki cradling his head with great sadness, was so moving... Amon facing Urie and Yonebayashi, the latter who knew there was more to him... While Amon remembered when he first met Kaneki in beloved Tokyo Ghoul (2014)... And poor Seidou saving Akira, remembering those beautiful moments from Tokyo Ghoul A with the piano was Soo beautiful.... Nishiki fighting Roma and her fellow dumb clown with Kurona was really nice and funny!! I still find it amazing how that clumsy waitress turned into such a crazy evil girl again!

Overall, it was an extremely deep and beautiful episode that still felt rushed, and glossed over several manga moments, but it still had a beautiful feel of it's own... I realized, it's why I had it with me in the first place to this day... 3:00 AM, Thursday, May 19, 2022.

Rest In Peace Arima. Very sad moment, I teared up. The dub VA did a great job with Arima's final moments. He really was like a father to Kaneki );

The anime could've done much better preparing the audience for this, like the manga did. It feels like the Washu Clan conspiracy, the one-eyed king, and Furuta all came out of no where in the anime. They also left out some key backstory. But oh well, I'm watching this as basically a serialization of the best manga scenes into an animated format. From that perspective, I'm rather enjoying it. But I'm starting to understand why just-anime-watchers don't like :re ):
