Even I as somebody who likes Emma cannot deny this was rather shallow

This clip I saw a couple times at the movies before the actual film started. "Louis Vuitton: Attrape-Rêves - Where Will Your Journey Take You?" is certainly a really long title for a short film that runs for only exactly a minute. But as you may have guessed from the title, this is a brief commercial for the company listed in the title and the specific product (i.e. perfume) you can read right afterwards and what follows are the words you get to hear at the end of these 60 seconds spoken by Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone. Until then, we see her in all kinds of different locations, such as a field, the seaside, somewhere very high in front of a skyline, in a car, on a carousel etc. No need to mention each and every one of these. On the carousel, by the way, is the only scene in which it is not just the actress, but she has a little girl with her. That was alright. The song is so-so, nothing too catchy in my opinion. And while Stone is a huge star obviously, there is another one attached here and it's obvious Louis Vuitton spent the big cash for this commercial and the one I am talking about is Oscar winner Sam Mendes, who has the war drama 1918 in the race this award season, a definite contender for Best Picture. Stone is not a factor this year. But let's not drift away. I just find it fairly difficult to say more about this really short movie. Like I said in the title already, I found it more shallow than inspiring or creative and I like Emma quite a bit, so yeah I guess for people who don't care about her, this is an even worse watch, which is why overall I give this film a negative recommendation. It's not a failure, but nothing special either and best may be to skip it this time unless you are a really huge, like gigantic, fan of the actress. Also it did not inspire me at all to buy the product (I know it's for women, but still), so once again mission not accomplished. Honestly I felt this could have been for any perfume manufacturer, which is not helping either. Thumbs down.
