• Ravan : [to Shivalinga]  Whenever a person attains unmatched power, it is your illusion that makes him mad with power. Even your deities cannot tolerate the item of power; they too get ego. This is my state, I got my powers, got ego from them and could not bear the burden of that ego and power. I have also done atrocities on others in the name of those powers. Leaving religion, I have followed the path of unrighteousness, then I will have to face its punishment. But Ravana will also suffer punishment with the same pride with which he has enjoyed those powers.
