This program has been made in relation to Arne Næss' 80th anniversary, in 1992. Arne Næss was a Norwegian philosopher who at the time was still active as an independent writer and critic of society. Already in 1937 he became the country's youngest professor of philosophy. Later he led two expeditions to Tirich Mir in the Himalayas.
