The first episode of season 37 was very entertaining, but maybe a tad too "touchy-feely". This second episode shows that everyone there, including the Davids, has come to play the game - HARD. Strategy talks abound - NOW we're on Survivor! Happy-go-lucky Davie finding the idol is a huge surprise. The immunity challenge, which seemed like a lightweight at first, lasts for over an hour! And the first tribal council of the season is highly suspenseful - because there seem to be no obvious cast fillers this season, whomever was to go, their presence would be missed. You don't know what's going to happen literally until the last vote is read. The camerawork is superb throughout the episode, so is the music. ***1/2 out of 4.
