Do the writers not understand that the normal tension between characters makes great suspense but Gorsch is a moron and is dragging the show down. I'm going to quit watching if this Twit is at 51 much longer.

So glad that the show ended with Gorsch finally going. Sad that they killed off Severide's dad, but at least they had him honoring the wishes of his son before he died.
I am in agreement with several others that they need to stop the story lines where people are trying to shut down 51. That is an overused and tiresome story line. Move on to stories that center more on great saves and triumphs of severe fires. Have more stories showing some of the fires not ending well and the struggles that the firehouse has to deal with when that happens.
If these current writers cannot come up with better stories, get new writers.

Like everyone else, really over the "51 is doomed" storyline they've now used several times.
Conflict is a part of any drama series, but not the same conflict over and over.
At least they got rid of the annoying tit Gorsch.
As soon as Benny didn't show up for the meet with Kelley I guessed the reason.

I love Chicago Fire and have done for a long time so will not stop watching it nor am I even tempted to. It's one of my fave shows!!
However...Gorsh is driving me to distraction. I legit shout obscenities at the TV every time he is on the screen and the way he insults and pushes Chief Bowden is insulting to the viewer as well. I've been invested in this show for a while and you also connect with the characters but this guy, Gorsh is evil and scheming and i wanna jump into the tv and throttle him!!! Clearly the man who plays him is a great actor to trigger so much hate and venom from me! Firehouse 51 have had a few storylines where people are trying to take down the house and it's getting old now.
I can't wait to see this horrible, vindictive cretin receive his well deserved comeuppance!!

Goodbye to some, hello to others. A nice meaty episode with some of our favourites front and centre. I had some real belly laughs and there was enough grit and tears to have it still be relevant to the season's plot/arc. Definitely not one to miss.

I love Chicago Fire. However this was the season I came close to saying farewell! This is the 3rd story line involving bringing the Chief and the firehouse down. I am sick of that story line. The writers needed to come up with a different storyline. What was the saving grace and made me gave it 4 stars was the story of Benny, Kelly Severid's dad.

Love this show. Really I do. Faithfully watch for the great actors and characters but this storyline with someone trying to take down the firehouse. Come on!!! The people who watch this show have brains and this is getting ridiculous!

I dont know why the writers decided to add him to the show. He does nothing good at firehouse 51 but undermine Boden, Casey & Severide. I will be happy once he has been removed from the show. I am tired of having people try to close down firehouse 51. It was a shame when Gabriela left. The gorsch storyline is a complete waste of time. I agree with twistedfiligree, the writers need to come up with new storylines or I will stop watching the show. The way he (gorsch) tries to take over is extremely infuriating, leave the running of 51 to chief Boden. That is the end of my rant about adc gorsch thanks.

This is a sample of how an assh*** could risk good job and a team work. I understand the series need some lack of empathy and examples of people who scalates positions without proper knowledge and only for kissing asses, but the character of Gorsch is just an assh***. It's impossible to see the series without getting angry with this. If the writers doesn't have good ideas, is better not to include new characters and even better may exclude another ones like Grissom. A hater who doesn't benefit nor fire department nor teams like 51 station.
People like these two characters are real in life and ruin all what they touch!!!
