In spite of the overwhelming evidence to the contrary - this interview and previous ones with Ewa Aulin, the full name of her Swiss-born son Shawn Rolf John Shadow, old newspaper and magazine articles, photos, discographies, etc. - conspiracy theorists maintain that Aulin's British musician-turned-filmmaker ex-husband John W. Shadow wasn't a real person, but rather that "John W. Shadow" was a pseudonym for Italian producer Roberto Loyola - that the latter married her in Tijuana, Mexico on March 21, 1968, and that he directed, produced, and wrote both the screenplay and songs (including "What Colour Is the Wind") for Microscopic Liquid Subway to Oblivion (1970), which she starred in.
