Incredible that the denial which spread this outbreak 100 years ago, is the same as the denial going on in the US and a few other countries today.

The 1918 to 1920 Pandemic did not start 1918 but years before in the filthy rat infested trenches of World War One that had lots of dead human bodies left rotting in the trenches. Rats like their cousin bats have many diseases, like bats have 400 kinds of Coronaviruses.
The Spanish Newspapers reported about this before 1918 and were criticized as the British, Germans, Americans, European Nations all Censored everything about the Horrors of World War One that daily since 1914 the Spanish Newspapers Reported Everything including The Disease that was raging in the Trenches of World War One, so the Governments doing the Censorship called this The Spanish Disease because they did not know much about Viruses, Bacteria, Mold, Mildew, Fungi, etc. especially General Practitioners Medical Doctors.
When the first symptoms started prior to 1918, many misdiagnosed this as exposure to a new kind of chemical weapon, as coughing up blood, some believed was a biological weapon. Many had never heard of Hemorrhagic Fever unless they had been to the Great British Colonial Empire's Colonies at the Middle East, nor seen Bacterial Pneumonia nor Viral Pneumonia nor even knew the difference, there was no such thing as Oxygen Tents either.
Most of the Military Uniforms of that time were made of wool, dead animal hair, perfect for carrying a bacteria, virus, toxic mold, mildew, poison producing fungi, etc. especially disease carrying fleas, ticks, lice, etc., even common anthrax spores from bacteria.
Routinely Military Units during World War One 1914 to 1918, were rotated, many wounded were sent to Military Bases at their Own Nation. Creating a Vaccine from Attenuated Strain of Virus or Proteins of Dead Virus does not account for any Mutations from what the samples were used to create the Attenuated Stain Virus or Dead Virus Protein Vaccine, as proof they learned NOTHING.
