Clocking in at 4 minutes, this short features two Dan(iels), both of whom, in true romantic dramedy fashion, are attractive (but not in a generic Hollywood way), and both of whom represent one side of the most reliable romcom scripting (one is cautious, the other is a risk-taker).
Dan and Daniel have a.sweet, easy chemistry, which helps to make the lighter bits stay with you. The earlier material is a lot of melodramatic hash which doesn't really make sense in such a short format - we have no idea who these people are yet they are right in the middle of a Harold Pinter play. One could say that is how some people behave, but it doesn't really work as a window into a histrionic relationship either, as the performances are too stilted.
The quick runtime and appealing performers mean this is still worth a watch, but just don't bother much with the plot.
