We can all agree that Episode 10 did not top last year's musical ensemble with "Under Pressure" and rightfully so, considering the song is very well known and it is Freddie Mercury & David Bowie we're talking about. The episode itself is what carried the musical. "All That Josh" was about the whole team while "All That Hard, Glossy Armor" was about one person only: Margo Hanson. Summer Bishil stole the show every scene she was in. She did Janet Pluchinsky extreme justice; the book character Margo was based on. Her journey in the desert was handled well and we got some insight into Margo's past and saw her vulnerability which is something we never see since she hides it so well. Her performance was so raw and powerful. I felt it.
The axes and The Foremost were carried over well. I like how they made adjustments this time around with Margo's goal being to rescue Eliot with them while in the books Janet was betrayed believing The Foremost and his tribe will side with Fillory. A lot of these were 80's songs which weren't exactly well known but on my second watch around I enjoyed fully. It's also understandable that Eliot got the spotlight with this year's musical considering Kady owned it last year. To the person who said Jade isn't a good singer, I highly disagree. She's the best performer out of the cast (as a singer and dancer) and can hit several vocal ranges most cannot. ;)
