It's time to hit the road. In the town of Uusikaupunki, Uncle Elmeri guides them to a small hill called Myllymäki. Riku gets a bit too close to the historic windmills.
The boys drive along the Finnish archipelago and take a ferry to Kustavi. They camp and fish near the Caves of Jeremiah. Uncle Elmeri tells folktales about the ancient giants and soon Riku sees one between the gloomy rocks.
In the wooden city centre of the town of Rauma, Riku follows the smell of the sausages and also receives some treats for the others. The trio visits the lively marketplace and learns some "rauman giäl". Laughter prolongs life.
Elmeri reminisces on old times in the abandoned pilot station at Lyökki island, near the city of Uusikaupunki. At the campfire on the rocks, Ransu and Riku learn about the life of a maritime pilot.
The group makes a stop at Vakka-Suomi. In addition to the legends and stories, Uncle Elmeri tells how the fishermen catch Baltic herring, "silakka", from Finnish coastal waters. Ransu and Riku also see how to gut and smoke fish.
The road trip ends in Eurajoki, where the trio refresh themselves in a small sauna on the shore. Across the sea is the Olkiluoto Island, with its two nuclear reactors. Elmeri educates others about the pros and cons of nuclear power.
