- The Super Ninja Steel Rangers are ambushed by monsters who switch bodies with them.
- Caught trick-or-treating without their Power Stars, the Rangers suffer a collective out-of-body experience when villainous Versix switches their bodies with six intergalactic felons nearing arrest. Summarily taken before the Halloween Intergalactic Court, they desperately try to prove their true identities before a trio of disbelieving Jack O'Lantern judges poised to vaporize them.—statmanjeff
- The Power Ranger teens ready to go trick-or-treating (Peston as a caveman, Hayley a hippie, Calvin a professional wrestler, Brody a Roman centurion, Levi a pharaoh, and Sarah an air force mechanic). Versix appears along with the six Gruesome Grunts (an intergalactic mob of criminals). Having left their Power Stars with Mick while trick-or-treating, the Rangers are at a disadvantage. On the other hand, this criminal group has nothing to do with Madam Odius. Versix performs a body-switching spell. Now the Ranger teens are monsters and the monsters are the costumed teens. Brody and Sarah duck Versix' spell to bind them all in chains. Versix will go after Brody and Sarah, leaving the rest to await the arrival of the Mummy Guards.
Two Mummy Guards appear. The Gruesome Grunts hand over Levi, Preston, Calvin and Hayley (in monster bodies) and the guards teleport them all before the Halloween Intergalactic Court. Brody and Sarah, watching from behind a bush, decide to find Mick and learn what the Halloween Intergalactic Court is about.
The arrest group arrives at the Halloween Intergalactic Court, with cemetery fencing separating sections presided over by three jack-o-lantern Pumpkin Judges, who declare their favorite word is "justice." The prosecuting Court Witch (resembling the Wizard of Oz witch) steps forward, ready to punish the Grunts for their crimes.
The Ranger teens plead that an exchange has taken place, putting them in monster bodies. As proof, they pour forth the stories of getting their Power Stars. As their acquisition of Power Stars is public record (thanks to the Galaxy Warriors show), they get a strike for lying. Ten strikes on the tally meter will mean their destruction. The monsters in Ranger teen bodies laugh.
The monstrous arrival of Brody and Sarah alarms Mick and Redbot (with only wrenches in their hands for defense). As proof of identity, they know Mick's from the Lion Galaxy and his parents call him "Micklepoo." Mick would hug them if it wasn't for their ugliness, and their foul smell affects Redbot's receptors. Mick reveals that the Halloween Intergalactic Court is the toughest in the galaxy, but he has an idea on how to save the others and restore the Ranger teens to their rightful bodies.
Back at court, Fangore and Jabberon accuse Calvin and Hayley of trying to put the vampire bite on them. A flashback shows the Rangers defending themselves with garlic. Calvin says he loves garlic and would never put the bite on anyone. The court witch holds forth a string of garlic, but Calvin forgets he's in a vampire monster's body. The garlic repels him, and two more strikes join the tally meter (one for the wicked deed and one for lying about garlic).
Next, Stabberous testifies about how he and his fellow Rangers had to don their magic capes to fight Stabberous. A flashback shows Stabberous breaking Preston's magic wand and slicing through Brody's sword. Luckily, says Plasmora, she and the Rangers used their Element Star Ninja Metal Attack to stop Stabberous from breaking any more of their weapons. Hayley declares none of that happened, and that they'd never wear weird capes in a fight. Preston begs to be given his magic wand (which he sees Stabberous using to pick his teeth) to prove he's a magician, but the court refuses to provide an accused monster with a magic wand. Three more strikes are added to the tally meter, one for the crime, one for lying, and one for trying to trick the court.
Back in Summer Cove, Mick and Brody lure Versix into a dumpster trap. Phase one complete. Onto phase two as Mummy Guards arrive.
In court, Levi tries to prove himself by singing. His voice grates on the Gruesome Grunts. A good voice is no proof of goodness or evilness, declares the central judge; they themselves are a barbershop quartet, which they prove in a warbling song about a pumpkin maiden. The Gruesome Grunts sycophantically applaud the judges. One strike for guilt and three for assuming pumpkins can't sing. The tally meter is now full. Time for the Gruesome Grunts to be vaporized.
Proceedings are interrupted by the Mummy Guards bringing in Versix and the last two Gruesome Grunts. What have they to say for themselves, asks the central pumpkin. Versix steps forward to confess he did a terrible deed by switching Ranger teen bodies with the Gruesome Grunts. The witch and the judges are flabbergasted. The two groups are really each other? The jig is up and the Grunts try to flee, but the witch suspends their movements. The judges orders the witch to switch them back. (Luckily, everyone ends up in the right body.)
The Gruesome Grunts can't believe Versix' betrayal. Well, it's not Versix. It's shape-shifting Mick in disguise. The pumpkins judge the Gruesome Grunts guilty and summarily vaporize them with their eye-beams. The judges apologize to the Ranger teens and ask after Versix. Sarah says they know where he is, but Redbot tele-comms to say that Versix has escaped but can be found at the docks. The teens would go after Versix but they don't have their Power Stars. Actually, they do, as Mick unpockets them and hands them out. The Ranger teens morph and thank the Pumpkin Judges. Putrid the Mummy Guard teleports them back to Earth.
At the docks, Versix thinks he's escaped successfully. The Power Rangers suddenly appear before him, announcing they're back in their own bodies. A fight begins, swords against a staff. Levi delivers a Tornado Attack, sending Versix spinning up into a vortex where the Blue, Yellow, White and Pink Rangers slash at him in turns. As Red Ranger calls up Lion Fire, Versix strikes with a Versix beam. Nice try. Red Ranger deflects it and finishes calling forth a Lion Fire Flame Strike. Red Ranger delivers a Lion Fire Double Super Strike. Versix cries out that he'll be back to haunt them, then explodes.
The Rangers think they've destroyed him, but Versix returns without explanation and conjures himself into a giant. At Pink Ranger's suggestion, Red Ranger calls for the Ultrazord. A Ninja Ultra-strike fires at Versix. Versix rapidly stomps the ground and succeeds at shaking the Ultrazord apart. "Easy as pumpkin pie," laughs Versix. Since he'll only shake apart more Megazord formations, the Rangers plan to attack with just their Zords, calling up Sub-surfer, Rumble-Tusk and Astro as well. Attacking together, the Zords hit Versix with a Final Attack of Super Zord Slashes. Versix explodes one last time, exclaiming his failure at getting any candy this season. Ninjas win.
The Ranger teens resume their trick-or-treating and declare they've gotten a good haul. Sight of a Pumpkin Judge halts them, but they determine it's just a Halloween decoration and laugh. The pumpkin shouts out "GUILTY!" With a "boo!" it turns into Mick in a bee costume, just pulling off a Halloween prank. Good one. He joins their trick-or-treating.
