Offbeat Tale of Motherhood

This is an appealing film about a mom who does not have it quite together. Great performances, especially from the kids.

Adorable and Nuanced

This film is as delicate and fragile as the relationship between it's lead characters. The acting is sweet and realistic, filled with tiny private moments. Enjoyed it immensely!

A warm and enjoyable film

What grabbed me about this short film was the subtlety of the writing, how the challenges the main character has been dealing with are hinted at, which drew me in. I also liked how the film becomes more intimate as it progresses.

Real, Observational, Human

Such an empathetic portrayal of a family in transition. This is motherhood at its least sure-footed but most real. I want to show this film to every writer or director who thinks they have to bash us over the head with exposition or explaining WHY characters do what they do. Lovely acting, fly-on-the-wall camera work. A treat.
