  [seeing him resting on his speeder bike] 

  Toro Calican : Come on, wake up. Look at you, asleep on the job, old man.

  [he draws his blaster from his holster, then spins it on his finger] 

  The Mandalorian : You done?

• Fennec Shand : [seeing her captors have only one speeder bike]  Uh-oh. Looks like one of us has to walk.

  The Mandalorian : Or we could drag you.

  Toro Calican : All right, so what is the plan?

  The Mandalorian : I need you to go find that dewback we saw.

  Toro Calican : And leave you here with my bounty and my ride? Yeah, I don't think so, Mando.

  The Mandalorian : [looking out into the desert with the sensor in his mask]  Okay, I'll do it. Watch her, and don't let get near the bike. She's no good to us dead.

• Peli Motto : So, I take it you didn't get paid?

  The Mandalorian : [emptying a pouch he took from Toro]  That cover me?

  Peli Motto : Yeah. Yeah, this is gonna cover you.

• The Mandalorian : It's a flash charge. We alternate shots, it'll blind any scope temporarily. Combine that with our speed and we got a chance.

  Toro Calican : A *chance*?

  The Mandalorian : Hey, you wanted this.

• The Mandalorian : How long you been with the Guild?

  Toro Calican : Long enough.

  The Mandalorian : Clearly not. Fennec Shand is an elite mercenary. She made her name killing for all the top crime syndicates, including the Hutts. If you go after her, you won't make it past sunrise.

• The Mandalorian : Hey, droid, I'm a hunter. I'm lookin' for some work.

  EV-9D9 : Unfortunately, the Bounty Guild no longer operates from Tatooine.

  The Mandalorian : I'm not looking for Guild work.

  EV-9D9 : I am afraid that does not improve your situation, at least by my calculation.

  Toro Calican : Dewback. Looks like the rider's still attached. Is that her? Is that the target?

  The Mandalorian : I don't know. I'll go. You cover me. Stay down.

  [getting up and approaching the dewback] 

  The Mandalorian : Whoa, whoa.

  Toro Calican : Well, is it her? Is she dead?

  The Mandalorian : It's another bounty hunter.

  Toro Calican : Hey, I hope you don't plan on keeping all that stuff for yourself. Can I at least have that blaster?

  The Mandalorian : [finding a tracking fob, he stands up in alarm]  Get down!

• Peli Motto : You damage one of my droids, you'll pay for it.

  The Mandalorian : Just keep them away from my ship.

  Peli Motto : Yeah? You think that's a good idea, do you? Let's look at your ship.

  [looking at the damage] 

  Peli Motto : Oof! Look at that. Ugh, you got a lot of carbon scorin' building up top. Yeah. If I didn't know better, I'd think you were in a shootout. Special tool for that one. Oh, yeah, I'm gonna have to rotate that. You got a fuel leak. Look at that, this is a mess. How did you even land? That's gonna set you back.

  The Mandalorian : I've got 500 Imperial credits.

  Peli Motto : That's all you got? Well, what do you guys think?

  [her pit droids chatter] 

  Peli Motto : That should at least cover the hangar.

  The Mandalorian : I'll get you your money.

  Peli Motto : Hmm. I've heard that before.

  The Mandalorian : Just remember...

  Peli Motto : Yeah, no droids. I heard ya. You don't have to say it twice.

• The Mandalorian : [finding the Child's not in his berth]  Where is he?

  Peli Motto : Quiet! Oh...

  [shushing] 

  Peli Motto : It's okay. You woke it up. Do you have any idea how long it took me to get it to sleep?

  The Mandalorian : Give him to me.

  Peli Motto : Not so fast! You can't just leave a child all alone like that. You know, you have an awful lot to learn about raisin' a young one. Anyway, I started the repair on the fuel leak. There you go. I had a couple of setbacks I want to talk to you about. You know, I didn't use any droids, as requested, so it took me a lot longer than I expected. But I figured you were good for the money since you have an extra mouth to feed.

• Toro Calican : [spotting Tusken Raiders nearby]  Well, whatever the call themselves, they best keep their distance.

  The Mandalorian : Yeah? Why don't you tell them yourself?

  [turning, Toro sees two Raiders a couple feet away] 

  The Mandalorian : Relax.

  Toro Calican : [Mando starts communicating in sign language]  What are you doing?

  The Mandalorian : Negotiating.

• The Mandalorian : You see where that shot came from?

  Toro Calican : Yeah, it came from that ridge.

  The Mandalorian : Okay, we're gonna wait until dark.

  Toro Calican : Well, what if she escapes?

  The Mandalorian : She's got the high ground. She'll wait for us to make the first move. I'm gonna rest. You take the first watch. Stay low!

• Toro Calican : Picked up this bounty puck before I left the Mid-Rim. Fennec Shand, an assassin. Heard she's been on the run ever since the New Republic put all her employers in lockdown.

  The Mandalorian : I know the name.

  Toro Calican : Yeah, well, I followed this tracking fob here. Now, the positional data suggests she's headed out beyond the Dune Sea. Should be an easy job.

  The Mandalorian : Well, good luck with that.
