I love mr.bean so much and this is my favorite :) and

"Mr. Bean: Halloween" is a British short film from Halloween 2018, so less than a year old now, that features Rowan Atkinson playing once more the defining character of his career. Atkinson, almost in his mid-60s now, is one we hear a lot during this short, but barely see him at all and this was a huge problem for me. I definitely prefer considerably those Mr. Bean efforts where we don't hear him talk or make strange noises and this is really all this short is about. Then again, apart from the decent start, there is also nothing of value when we see Bean here halfway into the film when he makes a sound with his mouth or at the very end when he says bye bye and mysteriously disappears adding a slightly funny spooky note to the film. Well, at least this is what it was intended to, but really didn't work out. Maybe they should say bye bye instead to the character as this was not a good or funny film by any means. Says enough that it still does not have a million views on Youtube by now despite how long the character exists and how billions gew up with him. I remember him vividly from a talk I had at school over 15 years ago and I was far from a fan back then and still I am not a big fan today. But I did like the recent Mr. bean short made during a funeral as this one added some political incorrectness too and that was funny. And most of all, Bean was silent. Here he is just annoying. Big thumbs-up from me and I hope when I watch the other short special he made last year (for the holidays that one), I hope it will be better. Admittedly it cannot be any worse than this one here because honestly it just felt like Atkinson did not know what to come up with himself. So he just used other fruits instead of pumpkins and also brought the same routine then. The bear inclusion, usually a highlight, was incredibly bland and forgettable this time too. Stay far away from this little movie.
