After Guddu and Bablu lose the car, they attempt to escape by running into a building. Guddu and Bablu's confrontation with the assailants was shot as a single take. The single take lasts almost 3 minutes. This shot was taken using a camera suspended on a cable from the top of a building, using a truss support. A single take of this scale required coordination from every department; Direction, Production, Camera, Production Design and the Action team. The teams were divided and given responsibilities on each floor of the building. Several takes were needed to get the perfect shot.
This scene, where Munna kills Compounder, was Compounder's last scene of the schedule. The actors, Divyenndu and Abhishek Banerjee, also happen to be close friends from college in real life.
The scene in which all three cars meet (Maqbool, Munna and Gang, Guddu and Bablu), was shot under a railway bridge, and there is a train crossing on the bridge above. The train crossing was purely coincidental and worked very well for the scene.
In this scene, when Guddu swallows a pill using his gun, it was improvised by actor Ali Fazal on set. The actor wanted a creative way to show that Guddu is slowly losing control over his mind because of the drugs he is taking and felt this was a good opportunity to show that.
In this scene, a bottle is broken on the head of a student. The bottle is made of sugar glass. The student on whose head the bottle is broken is the son of one of the stuntmen on set, RB Yadav, who also plays the goon breaking the bottle.
