Dutch Hagelslag (white bread, butter, chocolate sprinkles)
Actually, 'hagelslag' is just the chocolate sprinkles that are used in other countries to decorate a cake. It's available in dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate and nowadays also some fancy stuff like caramel, butterscotch etc. It's always sweet.
A 'boterham met hagelslag' (bread with hagelslag) doesn't have to be white bread, the butter makes the sprinkles stick to the bread.
