Mainly for people without issues seeking employment to feel good about themselves

If i had more space I could summarise further why shows like this are not great, but I will leave it at that they seem exploitative and seek to mainly show how incapable these participants are more so than their highlighting their capabilities. They matched some participants with trials for jobs that were clearly not appropriate for them seemingly to make tv out of them struggling at the job and just kept filming when it was already clear they weren't going to be hired, I saw this as a way of entertaining their audience more than it being helpful and informative.

For a less egregious example, one of their participants interviewed a famous director and on the show he was only seen fumbling, in the longform interview you could watch separate from the episode, you saw him seem far more knowledgeable and capable than the show presented. Why not highlight that in the episode? Are shows like this seeking to normalise people with these conditions or infantilise them and highlight the quirks for entertainment?
