Bulgaria portrayed wrong!
12 April 2019 | by bossa-14619See all my reviews

In all honesty I love the tv series and every episode so far excluding this one. I am born and raised in Bulgaria and I can tell you that the portrayal of my country wasn't at all good excluding the fact that all of this is fiction. First off all none of the names of the characters were bulgarian but pure russian, second of all it's planina(mountain) not pranina, third of all the police is nothing like that, I did not know any of the songs played, the lines including bulgarian language were not clear and I could not understand them and much more. The episode was good, I liked it. But the problem is that in previous episodes the countries were portrayed more or less in the way they are. Bulgaria was not, you just made it look like a cheap copy of Russia which it most certainly is not as we have little in common with them.
