Emma was a 3rd spoke on the chemistry wheel between Whiskey and Cavalier and her loop almost lasted too long to save the show. If sparks don't reignite between Whiskey and Cavalier before the season final - that will be the Series Final - I gave this show a 9 for the above reason as well as it was just a lot of fun and great escapism in the 007 vein. Recommend to whomever is listening that the weak supporting cast needs to be replaced - The gal is OK but the 3 guys ad very little to nothing to the show - the CIA spy or what ever she is - is an obvious plant and her affair with the loopy black analyst is contrived at best. - The show has a lot of potential but needs some serious casting surgery to get a second season.

I really like the show because of the chemistry of all the actors. They work very well together, has great humor mixed with just enough seriousness. But losing Emma I think is a mistake. She is a great actress and had a great story line.

Is this an all boys club writers room, too? Floundering a bit? Kill off a woman! Laziest male ploy.

I really like the people in this show and I really loved Emma. She and Will had more chemistry than Will and Frankie. Frankie needs more than a dweeb, even one who occasionally shuffs off his dweebishness to be competent.

The writing in this show is alternately crisp (tho maybe it's the acting that's crisp) and ridiculous. The balance is off between slapstick humor and competent humans. Leverage had a great balance. This ensemble could have some of the magic of Leverage's stellar cast, but the writers keep putting utterly stupid words in their mouths and set them up for utterly stupid decisions.

Emma was a good fit for this cast as well as a sensational actress. Another stupid move. And of course who is the culprit? The one who killed the good woman. A bad woman. One who telegraphed her intention to do damage to the team from the first moment she made cow eyes at Standish.
