I enjoyed very much this journey through the nice landscapes of Norway: the Bryggen neighborhood, the Naerøyfjord and the village of Undredal with its tiny stave church, Kabelvåg, the mountains and seasides of the Lofoten Islands or the seaside resort of Larkollen.
Norway is a very interesting country: we discover some fjords: the importance of the ferries, Ole Enrik Nitter Walaker, the manager of the oldest hotel of Norway, Arild Dyrdaln who lives now all the year alone in a village near a fjord or the ferry captain Per Olaf Larssen who knows all the villagers of the fjord.
About fishing we meet Alvi Arne Lyse who takes care for the wild salmons and explains how they are resettling this fish.
Then we know about the "allemannsretten" , the right of public access to the wilderness: so the Norwegian people can enjoy the wild landscapes of their country and about some secrets of the Norwegian happiness: the transparency , the honesty and the rescet of the other persones.
The visit of the Viking village with Georg Olafr Hanson and the school of Viking life (rowing a typical long boat) were also interesting.
The Norwegian families want to spend their holidays in the nature: some families restore their family farms, some other family build small cabins, Knut has transformed an oñld farm into a hotel in middle of the forest. Besides families can spend a weekend on a remote island with a lighthouse and enjoy the quietness of these places.
Last interesting event: the "russefeiring" the celebration of the Norwegian student who graduate: the decorating of old buses and the celebrating nights during three weeks.
I enjoyed very the encounters of Sophie with Titus in Bergen (paddle boarding on the Naerøyfjord) and in Larkollen (swimming in the cold sea), with Christopher Haatuft (catching and eating oysters and preparing cod with juniper), with Lisa Blom in Kabelvåg (the discovery of the Lofoten) and with Ombelline Chardes in Oslo (the concert in the cafe and the walk in the streets of Oslo.
