Bad feeling

I love this show but that line about how they liked swerving too close to cyclists was was shudderingly cruel. My husband and friends cycle and I used to ride with him too but the cars with illwill and power were terrifying. In addition, we know cyclists who were killed by cars. The writers need to get on a bike and see how it feels.

Warning: Spoilers
My husband and I just finished watching this episode and we're still in shock. Humor about trying to "scare" cyclists on the road? Come on, y'all should do better than that. My husband's been hit by a driver who wasn't looking and so many people in our community are killed while riding because of drivers who don't value the lives of cyclists. A joke about trying to scare people trying to be healthy for themselves and the planet is out of character for this show. And we're done watching it now.

As much as I love the show, the single line: "What if I swerve close to cyclists just to scare them" makes me 1)f---ing angry, and 2) shocked that NOBODY showed up to that studio with any damned common sense that day. Including the actors. Why not: "What if I showed up in a white church with a gun, and started shooting to see if black Jesus would make an appearance?" Dre:"Seriously, I do that too." Still funny? asks this cyclist. No? Spend an hour on a bike.
