These days, WWE Superstars don’t just make their TV money through in-ring performances on “Raw,” “SmackDown Live” and WWE Network pay-per-views — there’s an entire (WWE) Universe of opportunity for popular pro wrestlers to earn big bucks on the small screen.
In our gallery are 11 WWE wrestlers with their own television shows. We included a few select series from recent years to help paint a picture of the non-canvas landscape. A few: “Straight Up Steve Austin,” “Fight Like a Girl” and “The Big Show Show” have yet to premiere.
For the purposes of this story, we only counted the three people who appeared in all 111 episodes of “Total Divas” — Nikki Bella, Brie Bella and Natalya — as it being *their* show, but we included the names of everyone who showed up in seven or more episodes of that one.

WWE has released Tjp (formerly T.J. Perkins), Tye Dillinger and Hideo Itami, the pro-wrestling promotion said on Friday.
Here is all WWE had to say about the trio of roster moves:
“WWE has come to terms on the release of Theodore Perkins (Tjp).”
“WWE has come to terms on the release of Kenta Kobayashi (Hideo Itami).”
“WWE has come to terms on the release of Ron Arneill (Tye Dillinger).”
Company of few words.

The History channel seems to be pulling out the stops every so often when it comes time to compete in the ratings and Knight Fight is one of those shows that proves it. As eye-popping and ridiculous as it first sounds you might actually find yourself drawn into the idea since it is kind of interesting to think about someone that would willingly don a metal suit of armor and hack away at someone else that does the same thing. It’s a medieval version of WWE in a way, but with weapons, and a lot less high flying obviously. The

Ex-WWE Superstar Jay “Christian” Reso has a new gig in the world of sports/entertainment, and while the former heavyweight champion’s new job is safer than his old in-ring one, the competition is anything but.
“It’s brutal and it’s beautiful — I was blown away when I saw it in person,” Reso told TheWrap of the armored battle presented by his new History series “Knight Fight.” “The intensity, how bad these guys want to win. It reminded me in a sense too of independent wrestling when I was first breaking in. Traveling all over, making very little money — but you couldn’t tell me otherwise, I loved doing it.”
“Knight Fight” invites fighters from the Armored Combat League to basically bludgeon the living hell out of each other for a few rounds with medieval weapons. The axes and swords are blunted, so nobody is getting their head chopped off,...

Like Daniel Bryan, former WWE Superstar Christian was forced into wrestling retirement early due to a concussion — but don’t expect a “Fight for your dreams and your dreams will fight for you” speech out of the “Knight Fight” host.
“I’m 45 years old. At some point, when is enough, enough?” Christian, real name Jay Reso, told TheWrap when we asked about a potential Bryan-esque comeback thanks to recent advances in concussion knowledge and treatment. “I get it. [Bryan] is a younger guy and it got taken from him a lot earlier. For me, it was [at] 40 years old, so. I felt like my mindset might have been different if I was in my 20s or if I was 30 years old. But I had already done so much over the course of my career and accomplished everything that I ever wanted to accomplish. It was just kind of like ‘Ok, what’s the next challenge?...
