- Edward Baldwin: I'm not going to abandon this base or our mining operations to the Russians. They'd strip Jamestown of every piece of technology they could get their hands on. I will stay until properly relieved by the crew of Apollo 24.
- Edward Baldwin: We didn't even come close to covering our part of the crater today. So tomorrow, we'll have to recon another sector.
- Danielle Poole: Our part. I love that it's our part now, like somehow we own it.
- Edward Baldwin: Kind of it how it works, you know? Whoever plants the flag first, owns it. Ask the Pilgrims.
- Danielle Poole: And what if I ask the Indians?
- Danielle Poole: I think Gordo's making beef stroganoff.
- Edward Baldwin: Someone should tell the mess steward serving Russian food on an American base isn't exactly kosher.
- Tracy Stevens: Is it true you've stopped paddling students?
- Principal Mike Russell: Corporal punishment in schools is becoming frowned on in modern educational circles.
- Tracy Stevens: Well, spanking was not frowned upon in my home, and now I'm an astronaut. So what does that tell you?
- Edward Baldwin: What is that? Is that telemetry?
- Danielle Poole: No, it's a short-range VHF transmitter. The Russian telemetry is on a different frequency. But it has to be voice, and it's encrypted.
- Edward Baldwin: Well, they're obviously doing something they don't want us to know about.
- Danielle Poole: Like what?
- Edward Baldwin: Installing surveillance materials. Maybe weapons.
- Danielle Poole: Do you really believe that? Why would you want weapons on the moon? Who you gonna be shooting at?
- Edward Baldwin: You, me, Gordo.
- Danielle Poole: Well, everybody wants to shoot at Gordo.
