A really solid and brave episode
akicork1 June 2021
I thought this episode did something rather brave in moving the focus of the story off the TAC characters, concentrating rather on the CME and her emotions and circumstances. I also thought that Francie Swift did a great job of presenting the character of Julia Martin(Kay Scarpetta/Temperance Brennan), getting to her lonely core in a way that was not allowed to Emily Deschanel in the television modification of the Brennan books. If a series were to be made of the massive train of Scarpetta novels, Francie Swift would be a front runner in my book. A different character, certainly, but here she has shown she could handle the essence of Scarpetta. While I'm talking about actors, let me fly a flag for MacKenzie Meehan, who has just arrived in the series. She seems to me to be a very competent actor. New main characters in any series are always greeted with execration by the less polite of the audience: eventually they settle in as part of the scriptscape, and are accepted! I look forward to MacKenzie's lengthy engagement on the series.

Replacement for Cable Can't Act
sanclan6 February 2019
I loved this show. The characters, dynamics, and stories were all good. Then Cable left and instead of getting something interesting in to be the new 'techie' for the team, they bring in MacKenzie Meehan who just happens to be a horrible actress, a bad replacement for Cable, not a good techie, and just does not fit it. Makes it hard to watch now.

Just too far...
thtaylor23 January 2019
Bull always plays a bit fast and loose with the law but this episode just took it way too far. Just none of what happens could or would EVER happen in a real courtroom. I mean there is suspension of disbelief and there is just completely disregarding reality. I can accept a Legal Procedural being only about 50% on point, but 0%? You've gone too far. This episode was just too stupid to watch and a big chance was missed to have the team actually lose a case considering what has come to light recently in numerous cases involving fraud by forensic scientists.
