I didn't know people that big could move like that

Warning: Spoilers
This consists of interviews with the cast and crew, all of whom have something to add within their area of expertise(and there is a very clear love of what they're working on), clips from the movie(And the first three), behind-the-scenes footage, and incomplete effects shots.

It's 19 and and a half minutes long. This is found on my library's copy of The Predator. It spoils a lot of the film, and so will this review so that I can go into more detail.

They talk about how it's kinda like a muscular Jamaican bipedal crab. The design of the creature being humanoid, even having some behaviours similar to us, but just alien enough. Finding the coolest variant without getting too far away from the original. Casting someone who has the right body type and right physicality for the role, getting a 6 foot 10 guy who does parkour. Using servos much tinier than 30 years ago so they have a much wider level of expression: anger, surprise and anything in between. Three different people controlled the different parts, and of course had to move exactly together, or it would look weird). Painting the suit exactly right after its been sculpted, wearing it, and how weird that feels for various reasons: turns out the guy who performed the role had some claustrophobia issues that he didn't realise until putting it on. Making more complex dreadlocks since the old ones were simplistic. For the stunts they would rehearse before he put all the stuff on, so that he could get his bearings since that would be a lot harder once he did. Putting up the weapons like it's in a museum, including props from the movies made before this one. All the work they put into the the mask, gauntlet, and Kuhjad. The ship. Making sure the control section definitely did not look like a human being could just walk up and know how to fly it. Using a meld of digital and practical effects for the upgrade/uber, and how his skin becomes armour when called for. The hounds including the one that gets lobotomized.

I recommend this to any fan of the series. 8/10
