I don't have much to say about the history here. I'm no expert on the war or outcome of it.
The documentary is good and a very fun watch. These Israel war documentaries always invite both sides to have a say so you always have some Muslims celebrating the battles Egypt won and the greatness or Egypt/Muslims even in wars Egypt started. This would be like a documentary where Argentinians got to celebrate their Falklands War victories on camera. It's obnoxious. I'm used to more neutral Western historians that are very left-wing and manipulate history in that direction, but won't be directly anti a nation to this degree. If USA starts a war I expect historians to remain critical instead of being patriotic even when evil actions are taken. You have to accept that Egyptian historians are not top tier and will sound like propaganda machines. Then they got some Israeli tank commanders and that part is great. It's just direct and close history about battles. No propaganda about good vs. Evil.
While the CGI made it all work it's very low level CGI. This is quality you'd see in 2011 video games. Today this is painfully outdated as you can run games in higher quality on your phone. Everything here is empty and you just see tanks and desert. It all feels fake and I wonder how amazing this would look if someone remade the battles? This would make for some spectacular movies. But the current CGI works fine to show us the story in very short clips. It's very low quality and rushed, but it's better than nothing. An update to the documentary would be really awesome.
