Sell your soul to the devil for a wild life, only it twist at the end with a change of heart!
blanbrn25 November 2019
This episode 11 from season 3 of the "HBO" series "Room 104" called "Crossroads" is one interesting episode that entertains with drama as the character study is a little dark and it twist and surprises somewhat in the end. It involves a young woman Jean who wants a life of guilty pleasures and vices like good times with money, sex, and feeling good. After checking into "Room 104" she makes a deal with a strange and serious man who's like an understudy and executive for the devil! Only years later Jean(June Squibb from "Girls" and "Nebraska" fame) returns older yet happy and now she has to pay up with the consequences only when a new client another young girl arrives this episode takes a twist as both a change happens upon Jean and the man who was the devil's deal maker! Overall well done and strange dark episode that twist with the lead characters.

Lacking nuance

Warning: Spoilers
This episode, Crossroads, from the third season of Room 104 could have had potential to demonstrate nuance about the faustian bargain and the consequences of it, but Jean (the older one played by June Squibb) lacked any real nuance at all and her brutal act of pushing her loyal assistant into Hell (the mysterious Room 104 bathroom) really lacked any ounce of nuance.

Imdb credits Susanna Harter as Veronica in this episode but she wasn't in it. However imdb does credit Susanna Harter as Veronica in the previous episode Night Shift, so yes I guess there's likely a double credit error that someone needs to fix.
