Daymond said he had to rethink is own core business. He said of retail: "creates massive amount of inventory, get half the price for it, you don't know who purchased it and you can't upsell the customer"; as opposed to the laser-focus of an online presence.
Daymond John was part of a delegation of business executives that travelled with former President Barack Obama to promote Entrepreneurship and Opportunity in Africa. He talked of giving jobs to women in Africa, especially Kenya, and President Obama said "women of a certain time couldn't work... how can you ever win a game if 50% of the players can't get on the field".
Daymond said of the hygienic spray "a lot of competition in this space, and it's a sensitive topic, and people do not want to talk about it".
