The Legends discover that their new problem is none other than Rasputin, who happens to be straight out of hell, and it might be tougher than they thought. Meanwhile, Constantine thinks he knows the reason behind these new blips and informs the team that it won't be easy to defeat.—The CW

Kevin stars with talking with Ava. Ava explains that she fought to keep the Waverider from being impounded. She testified before Congress, which complained about the lack of transparency with the Legends, and Ava figures nothing could go wrong.
Half of the team are away on a mission so Waverider is surprisingly quiet. Nate talks about the Crisis crossover and how the Legends were too busy to participate. Next the crew talks to Behrad, Zari's brother, who is hanging out in his cabin. He goes to the hospital to visit his infant self.
Charlie says that since they're no longer d-list heroes, they can go where they want. Bored, she promptly takes off in a jump ship
Mona is working as Rebecca Silver, aka Mick Rory's agent. She has a tendency to turn into Wolfie when the negotiations don't go well.
Gary is on the street getting coffee, and talks about how some things that happened the last year could be his fault. Constantine interrupts to say they have more important things to do, and Gary admits that his fairy godmother Nora made him Constantine's apprentice before following off after him
Kevin asks Ava how Sara fells about the documentary, and Ava admits that she hasn't told her and plans to spring it on her after she returns from her mission. Ava and the remaining crew decorate Waverider, and Sara, Ray, and Mick arrive. Mick looks for alcohol, and Ava hugs Sara and says that she had to be transparent to stop Wellington from cutting off their footage. Kevin introduces himself to Sara and tells her to keep doing what they're doing. Sara asks if she wants to talk about something in private, and Ava tells her that's what the confessional interviews are for. Sara tells the camera that Ava has lost her mind and walks off, and Ava has Mick tell the camera crew that he steals himself.
Ray talks about all the other heroes who saved the multiverse, including Superman. Ray asks where Charlie is and Behrad says that she took the jump ship. Ava jumps in and says that Charlie is scouting.
Waverider goes to the temporal zone.
Ray tells the camera that he wants to improve his image, and people still confuse him with Neron who possessed him. He wishes everyone could meet his girlfriend Nora, but she works internationally as a fairy godmother. Waverider shakes from a time quake and they discover that Gideon has a virus. Ava figures that they're perfectly safe, just as Nate runs in and says that they're incredible danger. Ray triangulates the time quake to 197, St. Petersburg Russia. Gideon executes a timejump... taking the film crew with them. Nate copies Sara's thing, and Ava suggests that they make the best of it.
The team goes into the Russian forest undercover on a "party sneak", and arrive at a funeral. The priest says that Rasputin is dead, and Ray points out that Rasputin was hard to kill. Rasputin breaks out of his coffin, much to everyone's surprise.
Back on Waverider, Sara tells the team to forget about the film crew and focus on the mission. Ray keeps working on catchphrases, and Nate shoves Ava out of his shot. Gideon is still suffering from the virus, and Sara and Behrad work on her and get the crew back to 2020, while Ray, Nate, and Mona research Rasputin and figure out what his next move is. As everyone split up, Ava asks Ray if everything is okay with Sara. Ray says that Oliver's death was tough on her, and Mona suggests that Ava write Sara a condolence card.
Nate, Ray, and Mona discuss what to call the returning villains from history, and Wolfie casts his vote.
In NYC 2020, Constantine and Gary respond to an urgent call about the supernatural. They arrive at an apartment and a woman says that her son Edgar is the problem. She lets them in and they find a demon-possessed Edgar crawling the walls. Constantine freezes Edgar in place and realizes that the demon is Masher. They go out for drinks, and they take the fire escape to avoid Edgar's mother.
Sara works on Gideon and complains that everyone is trying to get on her nerves. Behrad asks how she's dealing with Oliver's death, and Sara insists that she's fine. He gives Sara a condolence card and Sara says that they sound awkward. Ava is coming in with her condolence card and leaves before Sara can see her. Meanwhile, Sara is touched by Behrad's card and thanks him.
Ava tells the film crew that she'd rather do something for Sara than give her a card.
Mona tells the crew that the Czarina fell in love with Rasputin, and she figures that Rasputin would want to settle down with the Czarina... and provide a new series of books for Rebecca Silver.
Nate says that the St. Petersburg elite hated Rasputin, and Prince Yusupov, spearheaded Rasputin's assassination. He suggests that old Grigori could come back to settle the score, and Nate dresses as a Russian while Ray puts on his Atom suit. Mona prepares to deliver a fake love letter from the Czarina to Rasputin, and Ava and Mick prepare to kill Rasputin.
That night at Rasputin's manor, Atom has a new Atom cam so everyone can watch them. Yusupov is thrown out a window, and the guards surround Nate. He says that he's there to interview Rasputin, and the guards take him to Rasputin. He says that he's just there to chat, and tries to explain the 2020 film crew with him.
Nate and Rasputin sit down together, with the film crew filming, and Rasputin talks about it's hard to come back to life. He killed the man who killed him, but he's still not happy. Ava shows up and prepares to shoot Rasputin, but Nate is in his shot. Atom flies up the barrel of Ava's gun, and Mick reports over the radio that Mona is there. She explains her plan, and Mick yanks it away from her and reads it. He admits that it's well-written.
Rasputin says that Nate's aura is strong and figures God has brought him to life. However, the monk senses a hole in Nate's heart because he's forgotten the person he loved. Rasputin offers to hypnotize him, and Nate agrees despite Ava's warning.
The bartender throws Edgar/Masher out of the bar because he's underage. Constantine questions the demon, which finally says that Astra has released the worst souls from Hell. The mage says that he's not going to do anything, but Edgar/Masher doesn't believe him. Constantine exorcises Masher once he has the information he needs, and Gary shows up to hail Waverider so he can warn the Legends.
Sara is sitting in the Waverider study looking at Behrad's card and drinking, and finally confesses to the cameraman that she doesn't want to be a celebrity. Behrad comes in and says that Gideon is suffering from phantom data. Sara tells him to stay, hang out, and get lit. Constantine calls in and tells Sara that the some of the most evil souls in history have been raised from Hell.
Rasputin hypnotizes Nate.
Mick continues reading Mona's letter. Disgusted, Ava listens over the earbud.
Constantine tells Sara that they can't kill the evil souls without their chits, which are in Hell.
Nate remembers vague images of his love.
Ava fights off Ray and shoots Rasputin in the shoulder. Rasputin takes the bullet out, and the monks figure God has spared Rasputin again. The guards attack Ava, and Mick fires a flame blast at Rasputin but he repels it with his bare hand. Mona turns into Wolfie and helps Mick, and Nate passes out. Ray flies down, and Nate says that he remembers his love.
Ava orders a retreat, while Sara and Behrad watch on the film crew's camera. Sara is not amused.
The Legends return to Waverider, and Sara says that Rasputin is fresh out of Hell and they can't kill him while the chit of his soul is in Hell. Ray says that they thought they could make things easier for her by dealing with the mission without her. Sara tells them that she already has one dead friend and doesn't want more, and none of them bothered to ask her how she was doing. Ava says that she told them not to upset Sara by saying it, and Sara tells her that she has no idea what they saw. Nate asks her what happened, and Sara describes Crisis. She wanted to talk to her friends about it, but instead she gets cameras in her face.
After Sara storms off, Ava remembers her Time Bureau personnel about how she wrote her review of how she has trouble relating to people.
Nate admits that they let Sara down but is glad that they met Rasputin. He tells Behrad that Rasputin told him about the mystery woman he was in love with, and Behrad suggests that they chill out. Behrad then realizes that Gideon is processing data from a different timeline, and Nate figures that when they fixed Heyworld, they changed the timeline. Nate tells him to wait five minutes before telling Sara.
Ava says that she was afraid she would say the wrong thing, and everything she says makes things worse.
Behrad tells Sara his theory, and Rasputin and Nate contact them by the camera feed. Rasputin tells Kevin to make him a big deal, and Sara realizes that they left Kevin behind. Meanwhile, the monk says that he's having dinner and it will be a night to remember when he kills the Romanovs. When Rasputin does so, it will make him an immortal Czar. Sara tells Behrad that everyone else's cover is blown so they'll deal with it alone.
Rasputin prepares dinner and insists that every detail must be perfect for his meal with the Imperial Family. He admits that he's laced the teacakes with cyanide, and the Romanovs arrive. The Tsarina says that she was heartbroken by Rasputin's death. Sara and Behrad are uncover among the guards, and the waiter arrives with teacakes. Sara realizes that they're poisoned, and she and Behrad blast the teacakes out of the Royal Family's hands before they can eat them.
On Waverider, the Legends see what's going on via Kevin's camera feed. Ava figures that Sara wants to handle it alone, but Ray asks if they're going to let her.
Rasputin tells the Royal Family to stay there, and rants about the state of Russia. Sara throws a napkin at him and Grigori uses his bauble to take mental control of the guards... including Behrad. They attack Sara, who fights them off. She tries to get Behrad to step out of it.
"Anastasia" arrives, reveals that she's Ava under her veil, and throws a knife into Rasputin's chest. Rasputin says that she'll have to do better than that, and the other Legends arrive and attack Rasputin and the guards. Sara leads the Royal Family out, and the Atom blasts Rasputin... who shrugs off the charge.
As they take the guards out, Ava tells Sara that emotions are hard for her and she doesn't know what restarting the universe means. She says that she wants to be the person who is there for Sara no matter what, and they look lovingly at each other while fighting off guards. As they kiss, Atom comes in and says that they have a problem.
Sara, Ava, and the Atom return as Rasputin takes mental control of the Legends. They take out Atom and Ava, and Sara asks Rasputin if he wants to ham it up for the cameras. Rasputin starts boasting to the camera, and Sara throws Atom into his mouth and tells him to enlarge. He finally does so, blowing Rasputin apart. Kevin confirms that he got the shot. Ava figures the public will love the ending, and Sara kisses her for the finale.
Later, the Legends store Rasputin's remains in condiment jars so they can't grow back together.
Nate tries to recreate the face of his loved ones.
The Legends show a toast to the success of their mission.
When Kevin's documentary plays, everyone cheers. The Legends are backstage, and Kevin says that they should have cameras on every mission. He tells them to go out on stage and be heroic, and says that people expect them to put on a show. Nate figures that he doesn't want them to be themselves, and they go out and greet their fans. Sara thanks them for watching their film and hands the mike to Ava. Ava tells the audience that none of it was right and the other Legends join in. The Legends point out all the flaws in the time travel, and the audience boo them. They admit that they're a bunch of fraud and walk off the stage, and Kevin complains that they ruined their movie.
Back on Waverider, Behrad says that fame messes with people. Mick reveals that he stole a Fabergé egg that will finance their missions for years to come. Constantine arrives and goes in, goes to a cabin, and draws a containment circle. Ava and Sara come in and ask what he's doing, and he drinks a jar full of Rasputin and says he's going back to Hell. Constantine enters the circle, says that he'll return when the sigil is complete, and lights his cigarette lighter. Sara tells him to take care, and Constantine says that he always He disappears, and Ava admits that what happens on Waverider is often hard for an audience to follow.
Mick tells Mona that her love letter was good and he's giving up the writing because it's getting in the way of his thievery. He's handing off the Rebecca Silver novels to her, and says that there's a novelist inside of her. Mona says that there's more inside of her than Wolfie and Mick agrees. She tells Mick that it was great living with him on Waverider but she needs to fall in loves and break hearts. Mona can't do it on Waverider, and tells Mick that his latest novel sucked because he was stuck on Waverider. Before she goes, Mona hugs Mick and tells him that he was her favorite, and then goes.
Nate and Behrad scrub Gideon's memories, and Behrad goes to bed. Gideon tells Nate that she encountered a glitch during the Heyworld event, and shows him how Tala turned into Behrad. A hologram of Tala appears, and she says that she knows that she loves him and asks him to find her. Gideon says that her memories are incomplete and she can't play it back.
