Hmm, questionable

Warning: Spoilers
AmmoniaSport: Mia Khalifa tackles Steve Smith is a long title for a short film that's under 2 minutes, however it summarizes it fairly well. I think that the short film is funny, and the acting is great. However, I think her acting is better in other films. - Greer.

Not a failure, but far from good Warning: Spoilers
"AmmoniaSport: Mia Khalifa tackles Steve Smith" is a fairly long title for this very short live action movie that runs for under 2 minutes, but it summarizes fairly well what is going on here. This is a commercial for the brand mentioned first and we have a successful adult film actress as well as a successful American football player here. Smith, however, has almost no screen time except he is seen briefly at the end in the probably most unrealistic moment of the film. If she is that fast then how come he still has all the time in the world to put on his helmet. As for Khalifa, early on the director (an actor playing a director) tries to motivate her to get the best out of her, including an unintentionally dirty reference that was mildly funny just like the fact that both big names here land in positions at the end that they are somewhat used to. Well, as for my interest in American Football, first person i thought of when hearing Steve Smith was the basketball player gifted at 3pt-shooting, probably long retired. Enough said I suppose. This did not entertain me too well and did not make me curious about the brand it promotes either. I also have doubts about the question if it really works. Obviously not as greatly as it does here, but if there is any sense to using it. I am 99% sure I probably never will. Now back to the movie, maybe if you like one of the two protagonists, then go watch it. It is so quick that no real damage is done if you don't like it. But don't expect any great acting. Smith does not have the material to make an impact and Khalifa is admittedly better than you'd expect for an adult film actress at times. But the director is kinda weak and all style over substance. The real director is Eden Stelmach by the way, also co-writer, but yeah, he is mostly a prolific editor and has not directed anything else before and (obviously) after this 2019 release. It was released almost 4 months ago and feels a bit like Funnyordie. Overall, I give it a thumbs-down and looking at the ridiculously high budget, I must say I am really tempted to remove another star or two here as honestly with being such a waste of money, it would have been better if it never had been made.
