I'm a HUGE Anime & Manga fan, but I'm also a Mother. I am really starting to WONDER if Asians have any sense of family AT ALL, because I'm starting to see a really SAD pattern, but this one took the cake!!! You have a Dad and son, Victo & Kiri who are fighting these demons who steal time, in the hopes of getting Victo's time he lost in battle back, because ATM it's like he's younger than his son. Along the way they meet up with Mina, who claims to be Victo's wife, making her Kiri's mom, but while he has nothing but loving memories of his mature mother before she DIED, this YOUNGER-THAN-HIM girl is OBSESSED with his Dad, and is openly HOSTILE to him, to the point she said she's going to kill Kiri! The last half of the series revolves around a city where Victo grew up lost in a time loop, getting to see his parents again, and over and over the question was put to Victo in different ways that if he broke the curse, he'd destroy his family-Not one damn word about his LONG SUFFERING SON KIRI!!!!! FINALLY in the second to last episode, Mina acknowledges she's Nene, has mother and tries to save him, & his Dad in the last episode heard him yelling that he needed him & calling him Dad, and Victo realized he had been selfish. But mom was back to being mean, & dad was teasing him again by the end. Hear that? That's the world's smallest violin playing! Poor Kiri has been neglected, abandoned, taken for granted, had his LIFE THREATENED, but a few seconds of humanity makes that ok I guess? WTH is wrong with a society that KEEPS writing plot lines like this?
