Bigfoot! provided an otherwise unavailable opportunity - to work in the horror-comedy genre. With some concepts already fleshed out, such as parodying Finding Bigfoot and similar tv series, we approached the creatures as if human, with pet peeves, fetishes, and a pivotal stress point you don't want to hit. The comedy portion takes a look at the relations between bigfoots and their "sapien" counterparts, taking an angle yet to be done. So here was a chance to enjoy comedy, and yet, do something completely different.
Having said all of that, a bigfoot film with no horror is a bigfoot film with no audience. Horror drives the bigfoot genre; it's called horror-comedy for a reason. So we made sure the horror encompassed half the film, adding a cast of regional and national horror veterans representing the entire mid-atlantic region. Without a "concept", we could just go have fun and shoot a bigfoot horror picture. No elaborate meaning here. The goal was an entertaining picture with parts horror, parts comedy. A true horror comedy.

Looks like the monsoon conditions over the summer washed away any tracks. Afraid the movie will have to be the proof.
